Engineered with superior components, the 2-way, bi-ampable, 18dB/octave crossover network is designed for accurate imaging and sound quality. In addition, the woofer has a 0°, 30°, and 60° off-axis compensation.

The 2-way 6" x 9" model has a 25mm soft dome tweeter and the 3-way has a 20mm and a 25mm soft dome tweeter.

Totally new to MTX is our TDX6802 6" x 8" speaker. This model doubles as a 5" x 7" speaker. Instead the more common filler plate, MTX designed the speaker so that it could be mounted in factory locations of both 5" x 7" speakers and 6" x 8" speakers using a truly innovative wide mounting flange.

All models of the new Thunder Dome-Axial line are designed to be installation friendly and have one of the shallowest mounting depths available. Thunder Round – Pushing the envelope
MTX has taken subwoofer design and bass output to the next level with the introduction of MTX's new Thunder Round (TR) subwoofers. Available in 10", 12" or 15" sizes, these subs were designed with one goal, to bring the noise! Updating and upgrading the technology found in past MTX Super and High Performance Subwoofers, the TR Series has all the beef and brawn you need to be the loudest ride on the block. Whether you are looking to hit some sick SPL numbers or you want to roll with your favorite tunes, the Thunder Round subwoofers are up to the task.

The leader in the new Thunder Round line-up is the TR75 series. These beauties have a host of features designed for performance including a die cast aluminum basket, a black anodized aluminum dust cap (with a laser etched gothic MTX Audio logo) for strength, compression molded NBR surround for extreme excursion, and 8 gauge nickel compression terminals designed to deliver big power from your amp to these subs.

The TR55 series subwoofers don't hold anything back and also deliver the heaviest beats. Introducing the newest addition to the MTX Thunder Woofer family, Thunder Square (TS). These subwoofers are serious. The Mad Scientists at MTX were dreaming up hundreds of designs before creating the loudest square subwoofer in the class. Mission accomplished! Utilizing patented technology (U.S. Patent # 7,275,620), TS subwoofers are capable of delivering volume displacement unlike any other in their class. Translated for those of you new to the audio world, these subwoofers are #^*@% LOUD! With 1.75" voice coils and up to 125 oz. magnets, they are like nothing you've ever heard!

Many vehicles today have limited space and having a large enclosure to get the bass you want may not fit into your lifestyle.,There are very limited options for vehicles with limited space especially if you still want to get loud, clear music. Introducing Thunder Thin (TT) 65 series subwoofers, TT65 subwoofers are the next evolution in the MTX subwoofer line-up. Measuring only 3.325" deep these subwoofers will fit anywhere. Utilizing a patent pending "One Piece Spider Cone", the TT65 subwoofers are able to achieve excursion levels that are unparalled in the "thin" subwoofer market, in fact they can produce the same amount of excursion as our TR55 series subwoofers. What does it all mean? It means that if you want to get an extreme amount of bass from a very small space (like a door), than TT65 subwoofers are the solution for you. TT65 subwoofers are available in 10" and 12" sizes and are available in single 4 Ω or single 2 Ω configurations.
