Keep your OnStar functionality when installing an aftermarket stereo.

PAC's OS-1 OnStar® interface will plug into General Motors factory harness without having to cut or splice into the factory plug. The plug and play feature of the OS-1 will also interface directly with or without a factory amplifier (non-Bose®). The OS-1 incorporates a microcontroller that communicates directly with OnStar's serial data protocol to prevent false triggering thus eliminating unwanted audio noise through speakers. Onboard amplifier will drive two, 4 ohm speakers in stereo. Use with existing speakers in front doors or use external/separate speakers.

These interfaces allow the customer to retain the use of their steering wheel or rear seat radio controls when replacing the factory head unit. Works with many stereo and car makes and models - even with Alpine's OEM Steering Remote Ready radios. Some interfaces even retain the use of heater control buttons on GM vehicles.
